The Wedding Pen! DIY

That's where I am.

So today I decided to have craft day.

The Wedding Pen is one of those last minute details.

Unimportant as it may seem, to a detail person like myself, it's important.

y'all.

I'm crazy like that.

Crazy like a fox.

So, here is how to make a pretty Wedding Pen.

First you need ALL of the tools.  I dried some antique baby roses for this pen.  You also need this:

1) floral tape - Michaels

2) a GOOD writing pen. Black ink only with a slim nib. 

3) a medium thick roping - Michaels

4) hot glue gun

5) scissors

I pulled off about 7 stems and a couple of leaves

hot glue the stems onto the top of the pen (the cap part)

BTW.  I forgot to cut of the pocket hook on the pen.  oops.

cut that part off.

go around the top and glue the roses on all the way around

then glue a couple of buds onto the very top to cover the top of the pen

add in a couple of leaves 

take the floral tape and wrap it tightly around the pen top.

glue the end of the roping to the BOTTOM of the pen cap

and just start wrapping it around the pen

glue the end of the roping to the pen

now basically do the same to the bottom part of the pen

securing the roping to the top of the pen (the part before the pen starts to indent)

 and there ya have it!!!
