J's Birthday Part II

Oh what fun we're having!!!

I have gone from the beach with a darling group of women to the lake with a darling group of young ladies.  And that my friends is truly what they are.  Jordan and Eric have adorable friends and W and I have thoroughly enjoyed them!

I've been snappin away!

 most of the time all of them had their iphones goin constantly

 We played cornhole - what is cornhole?

 3rd try, right in the hole!!!!

 Daniel and Eric made many runs for libations and food

 while I relaxed on the swing with my precious Cate!

 what's more fun than a bunch of young adult girls having "girl time?"

 then the guys had to break it up

 but not before I got to snap a few shots!

Jordan's Birthday

What fun we are having!!!

J was SO surprised!  Eric and Jordan got here Thursday night, (she thought they were spending the night and then going on some exotic vacation!) (hope she wasn't too disappointed!)  But then 2 couple friends showed up 30 minutes later!  How exciting!.  Now last night Jay and Holli and Jill showed up!

Yesterday was so much fun.  The girls just chilled and all rode on the pontoon boat.

Cate was a trooper also!

 I found this cool pasta a Modica Market in Seaside and thought it would be perfect for a light lunch for the crew

 first I boiled it (of course)

 then drained it

 add chopped red onion

 and sliced cherry tomatoes

 a couple of cloves of smashed garlic

 a handful of arugula

 mix it all up!

 add olive oil and balsalmic vinegar to taste

 and feta cheese

mix it all up for a wonderful summer pasta salad!

My oldest turned 30!

I'm back home for J's lake birthday party (which was a huge surprise for her!)

that cake was so good I've already had some this morning :)

Well we went out with a bang for the last night with the sweetest people I have ever met!

Watercolor - Part II

What a treasure my sweet friend E is.  This has been such a wonderful trip!
