I never, ever thought I would be an abstract painter.
But, I, as an artist, get bored easily.
And, I like to stay current with the styles.
Abstracts are all the rage right now. And I am loving painting them!
They let me free up, they let me explore new colors, new strokes, and new styles!
Abstracts are funny though. Have you ever walked in to a store and there are abstracts hanging all over the walls?
Nordstrom always has great abstracts.
I have caught myself many, many times saying "oh, that looks SO easy to paint!!!"
NOT.
I'm serious, go get a canvas and paint and try to paint one.
They are SO hard!
You have to totally free your hand, loosen up your style and just completely let go of any fear of paint.
So, my goal for the next couple of months is to work on my abstract paintings!
Lets see where I can take this!
