Yesterdays Blog

Let me explain.  Yesterday I put up that I "deserved" to go to Napa.
Well, those of you who know me well know that I'm a Neal Boortz libertarian leaning on Republican.
Yep, I'll go ahead and say it.  That's just what I am!
Who is Neal Boortz and what does he have to do with "deserving" something?
He is a radio talk show host that I listen to every day.
If you don't want to be offended, you might not want to listen to him
He believes that no one "deserves" the right to anything.
I should have been reminded by him before I said what I said.
I quickly took that off after a sweet reader called me out on it.
I still want to go to Napa mind you, but my buddy Neal would adamantly disagree on the "deserve" part.
In all seriousness though, do any of us "deserve" anything?
He mostly speaks of health care and political issues and stuff but I'm with him on the "deserve" part.
I miss spoke and was caught up in my day dream.
Anyway, if I offended anyone, I am terribly sorry.
I have a wonderful life.  One that I don't take for granted because I know it could go away in a flash.
Please know that about me.
and boy did they get the weather forecast wrong today???
I'm off to play some tennis! (because I deserve want to)

Have a wonderful day y'all!

  1. I am so proud of you girl! Go play tennis and be sure and have a nice lunch afterwards. Thank you from the one who called you out, who by the way deserves nothing either, but lives a very blessed life.

  2. Knowing the little bit I do about what you have been doing the past few weeks, I think "deserve" is a pretty fair term. :)

  3. No matter the life you are leading, being a queen or being a blue collar worker-- everyone "deserves" a break from the everyday now and then. The difference is not everyone gets the nice things they deserve. I say book a trip!

  4. Kendall, you are a good person to not take offense to some of the comments you receive. I think that when you open yourself to the world of blogging you are bound to receive feedback that you are not always deserving of. I know that you didn't literally mean that you "deserve" it. We can't take ourselves too seriously.I think that ,although I am sure unintentional, you may come across as bragging sometimes. Yes, it sounds like you have a wonderful life and I wish that we all could have the same but it doesn't mean that you are not deserving of it. I hope you get to get away.As your other reader said we all deserve a break!
