As some of you already know, my mother was a master sewer and an expert smocker.
She left us with literally 100s of Sew Beautiful magazines (out of production), Children's Corner patterns, fabrics and smocking plates. Seriously, you wouldn't believe all of the stuff. She even left us with half made outfits that are neatly packaged with the patterns (some already smocked and ready to be put together with the lace included!)
Anyway, sister is having a sale. These things are actually very valuable.

Just so I'm clear on this, these dresses you just posted pictures of, those are NOT for sale, right?? Cause I really want some of them for our babies! Kim assured me there were plenty of dresses that would get passed down amongst all the grand-babies, but I just wanted to double check.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you are a Boggs right???? hehe!!! That means that ALL Gammy's handmade clothes WILL be passed down to her great grandchildren. Mother would come out of her grave and physically attack me if I ever sold any of her hand made outfits!!! Of course they will be passed down to you sweet heart!!! I wouldn't have it any other way! xoxo :)
