What does Valentines Day mean to you?
You know, this is one of my very favorite days.
It is a day for us to all reflect on the ones we love!
"W" knows that even though it's one of my favorite days, I can't stand the commercialism that goes along with it.
You know, I don't like feeling "forced" to do stuff.
Like eating out just because it's Valentines Day.
I think you should show your love for people every day!
It's just so contrived.
You go to a restaurant and there are rows and rows of two tops eating out.
NOPE.
So this year we are having a big family dinner for Vday!
Because I want my WHOLE family to know how much I love them!
We are having Mini Beef Wellingtons, Smashed garlic potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus.
oh and Callen brought over a spectacular looking heart shaped Strawberry cake. We could hardly contain ourselves yesterday....
yum.
Along with that, C has offered up some of her special "Godspeed" wine from her little collection.
and I will document everything of course!
so, all of you out there celebrating Valentines Day.
