Cheese Krispies - a must try!!!

Happy Turkey Lurkey Eve y'all!
I got a full 10 hours of sleep last night! YIPPEE!!!
Before hittin the sack though I made "W" one of his favorite little treats.
Cheese Krispies.
OMG - they are a must try for a little treat before the bird gets ready.  If you're like me, you are having a big crew come.  And, the 2:00 dinner time usually ends up being about 3:00/   I will have about 25.  Camera is charged and ready to snap candid shots of everyone!
SO excited.  This is my very favorite holiday!
SO, this is what you do.
First, here is the recipe:

and here's what cha need

put the 1/2 lbs. of grated sharp cheddar and 2 sticks (yep) thats 2 STICKS of butta in a bowl (your butts gonna love you for this recipe)

now.  I messed up.  I thought I could mix this up with my hand mixer but it kept jamming up my mixer.
So, I changed to my large mixer.  Mix that up really well

Sift together the flour, salt, sugar, paprika, and add about 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper.  I used more because I like them spicy

I love sifting

and love the outcome.  Isn't that beautiful?

mix the sifted flour mixture in with the cheese by slowly pouring it.

now add the rice krispies! and mix away!

this is what it should look like

now, I used a silpat on top of a baking pan but next time I'm not gonna use it.  I just think they would be krispier. But you do what you want.  See that Williams-Sonoma catalog back there?  I want everything in it.

Roll them in a ball and mash them down with a fork

Bake at 335 for 15 minutes

You must try these today!  Go back to the grocery and get the stuff!
Have a fabulous day y'all!
