I've been kinda busy!
First of all, I'm embarking on yet another adventure!
I am teaching art classes!
This is what I love, love, love to do.
Last week I decided to have a couple of art classes in Birmingham in September when I'm there helping my oldest while her husband is in Germany for 2 weeks working.
I did this a couple of years ago and truly it was one of the most fun things I've ever done.
So, let me "toot" my horn for a sec and say that within 30 minutes of putting it on Vestavia trading site on FB the first class was filled so I added a second class and it also filled up in 30 minutes.
Proof that people want to learn to paint!
Then I decided to do a Buckhead class. Same thing, filled right on up.
This is what I do. I provide ALL materials. That includes easels, canvases, paint, brushes, wine (so very important) and a few snacks. The classes are two back to back nights and are 2 - 3 hours each.
The cost is 140.00 and my students are sure to go home with a painting worthy of hanging in their home. I accept 10 students and the hostess gets to participate for free!
This is the painting that we will be painting!
in whatever colors my students want to paint.
I am posting this because I am considering doing one to two of these classes per month.
If you are interested in hosting a "painting party" please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
What's really fun is to find a hostess who wants to invite 10 of their friends! I can travel but depending on travel the cost of the class may be more. I would be willing to travel up to 4 hours from Atlanta.
Just let me know!
Now, here are some of my new pieces!
