For you Linen Lovers!

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for sheets.
To me there is nothing better that slipping into a clean bed of pressed sheets.
So, at some point we all get to the point of being "fed up" with our sheets.  It isn't neccessarily that I'm "fed up" with my sheets, I just happen to need an extra set for each bed.  That way they don't have to be washed and put back on the bed.  I happen to be one who takes the sheets to the cleaners.
I know, I know, but it is a luxury that I can't quit.  I just love the feel of a set of sheet straight from the cleaners.  oh my.  Something about the crispness of a set of sheet on the bed straight from the cleaners all pressed and ready to be added to the bed.
Basically, I love clean smooth pressed  sheets.
I sleep better on them.  It drives W crazy that I do that, but it is one luxury that I allow for myself and the guest that come to visit.
So, I was in the market for a 2nd set of sets.
Well, of course the first place I looked was Restoration Hardware.  I have had great luck with those sheets and since they now come with a colored trim, we will know exactly the bed in which to put them when I'm changing all sheets in the house.  (I usually use all white, so I'm venturing out on different colors so that we will know what beds they belong. So, I decided to look around and see what I could find.  Sit back and enjoy looking at sheets.  One of my favorites!
that I purchased.

  1. I iron my sheets as well, K! Just seems like what I should do! Of course, I still iron slips and cami's as well. Re: above pics...after scrolling through the lovely whites, those patterned ones are a shock to the eyes. The white is so soothing. I think sometimes, in today's world, we are overloaded by color. Thanks for the post today.

  3. Not in budget to send them out to cleaners with two little ones, but I do wash and iron ours weekly :-)

  4. I do love ironed sheets as well BUT......I don't iron them:((((( Occasionally I'll iron the pillow cases. One Kings Lane just had a sale with Peacock Alley sheets. You probably would have loved them! :))))))))))

  5. Can't afford the cleaners but sounds wonderful! I wash my sheets weekly and only iron the pillow cases. White sheets are the only way to go!

  6. I love great sheets and God blessed me with a husband that agrees. We are a budget conscious household, but we do not skimp on sheets because after-all we do spend one-third of our lives in bed (or we at least wish we did). I live by Martha's rule and have three good sets on hand. One in the wash, one in the closet and one on the bed. This has really extended the life of our sheets since I like to change them twice a week because there is nothing like slipping into fresh sheets (pardon the run-on sentence). That being said, I do not iron them; I do fold them straight from the dryer, the proper way into a beautiful little bed linen package.
