Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef

I didn't think this trip could get any better but it seems like one day is out doing the other!
Pics from a fun day, and greetings from The Great Barrier Reef!
the boat we road out on.  It was really smooth so I didn't see anyone puking off the side!
(Didn't that just make your day?)
 leaving the port

I decided if I ever loose all of my hair, I'm not getting a hair piece.....at least not a comb over!
this is when it REALLY started getting fun!  Since we couldn't take the helicopter over to the reef yesterday morning, we decided to take a 15 minute ride in the chopper when we got there!
see that little platform out there? That is what it landed on!
and this was the chopper flying in to get us. I have never flown in a helicopter before so I can mark this off my bucket list.  I wasn't nervous at all and it was a wonderful experience!!!

what we saw from the helicopter:

just the most stunning thing ever!
Michael was one of our tour guides!
we donned our wet suits. I'm putting this picture of me up because I think I look super happy and like I am just having the time of my life!  and I am!
E taking a picture of me taking a picture of her! I just thought she looked gorgeous in that wet suit!
See the short squatty person up against the tall people? that's me!
gearin up!
I had the best time watching Michael.  I'm not kidding when I say he is one of the greatest kids I've ever been around.  You know when you meet someone and they just are everything you would want in a child? That's him.  Playful, friendly (beyond words), fun loving, and brilliant. And so appreciative to his mom and dad.  They have to be beaming like crazy at having a son like this.  I kept wishing so much for my kids, because I feel that same way about my own, and they would be having the time of their lives.  I so wish they could experience what I'm experiencing right now!
I miss my kids!
 on to snorkeling!

heading back. Sitting and relaxing in the Australian sun.  What a fantastic day!
We gave the Great Barrier Reef a thumbs up!
Today?
We are going to the rain forest and then catching a chartered plane over to
Lizard Island.
We are all REALLY excited about this!
Have a wonderful day y'all!
