OK you guys have SO tugged at my heart strings! I have so loved reading each and every one of these posts. They are all so heartfelt and meaningful.
And I love that you all love your moms so much.
I love that you all respect your moms and admire her strengths.
This was SUCH a hard decision.
Now.
Having Becky Clark as my best friend for most of my life and knowing what a wonderful mom she was to her 4 precious girls and then watching the pain and suffering that she endured while she was sick, I just have to give this painting to Caroline.
Caroline's family exemplifies what a family should be like while taking care of a loved one.
We should all be so lucky to have a mom like Becky was. And I think most of you do!
Thank you all SO much for participating and writing in this "healing" contest. I wish I had copies of this painting to go around because I would give each and every one of you one!
You guys are wonderful!

ReplyDeleteMrs. Kendall!! I am so excited!! I have wanted one of your lovely pieces ever since we got one in our home in Dothan. This will be our mantle piece and will be forever cherished by Riley and me. Now when I see it I will forever think of the love we share for our moms. All my love and appreciation!
ReplyDeleteI think it's magical that you can give the in my mothers arms painting to Caroline. You both have suffered a great loss and this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship between the two of you. Your bff would want you to love on her daughter as you would your own. CAW
