My friend Connie...

and her family are some of the finest people I know.

I looked at her the other day and said "do you know that we've known each other for 20 years?"

She said "no we haven't!!!, it's only been like 10 years"

nope!

Geez we are older than dirt!

So.  I came to Nashville on Friday morning for the Brentwood Academy Fine Art Show.

It has been SO wonderful and I have been surrounded by some of the best artists I have ever seen.

Connie always welcomes me into her beautiful home when I come to visit all of my old friends.

It has just been wonderful seeing everyone.  I drove into Brentwood and a pang hit my heart missing the beautiful rolling hills and massive mansions that surround this quaint city.  If you're looking for a place to live, go to Brentwood.  Simply the best little town in the south.

Connie has a sort of adopted son that lived with her while he was in high school.  A great kid who comes back to visit every so often.  Ryan is in Afganistan serving our country.  One of those guys who does everything for everyone while he is visiting!  I want a Ryan to take home with me.

I miss my bestest buddy and her family who are like my own!
